The name La Tertulia translates from Spanish as "The Salon". This appears consistent with this vibe they are trying to cultivate in this place. When you walk in, you will find a bright and open split-level coffeeshop.
This shop is really a take-and-go. The management has a sister bar/cafe/restaurant across the street called Kashmir Lounge, which is large, luxurious, and stunningly beautiful. If you stop here for weed, we recommend crossing the street to smoke it.

Rusland has the distinction of being the first legally-established coffeeshop in the city. It holds coffeeshop license number 001, and opened its doors on April 30, 1975. As such, this is recognized as a historic shop and one of Amsterdam's pioneers.
DNA Coffeeshop is quite modern in appearance. It’s look is very reminiscent of an American dispensary. The inside is clean, ornate, and clinical. This shop has a connoisseur cannabis menu, featuring items from the breeder Amsterdam Genetics.
The Bij Coffeeshop is quite different from the old-school vibe of many others in the city. It has the medically professional feel of a pharmacy or Colorado cannabis dispensary. The shop decor is clean and clinical, and budtenders wear white coats.
