This coffeeshop is a true "chill out" place. The furniture (especially the couches) are comfortable, the music is hip (we think so anyway), and the management keeps the guests happy. They have everything from milkshakes to chocolate chip cookies too!
Eerste Bloemdwarsstraat 2R
This shop might just be “the” place for the visiting celebrity stoner. The atmosphere is upscale. The menu is excellent, and boasts many internationally famous strains. Perhaps most importantly though, it is far enough from the center to be quiet.
For a long time this establishment was known as Utopia, but changed hands in early 2018 to become The Plug. Interestingly, the new owner also runs The Plug cannabis club in Barcelona, which is quite well known for its connoisseur products.

The name La Tertulia translates from Spanish as "The Salon". This appears consistent with this vibe they are trying to cultivate in this place. When you walk in, you will find a bright and open split-level coffeeshop.
1e Hulp literally means "First Help". A reputation for quality cannabis has strengthened interest among visitors, who often make a special trip here. This coffeeshop is quite nicely appointed, with an ornate Arabian them throughout its three floors.
Club Media coffeeshop is located in Oude Pijp (the Old Pipe) neighborhood. It is right adjacent to the Abert Cuypmarkt, a busy outdoor market which attracts a lot of locals and tourists alike.
Gerard Doustraat 83-85
The cannabis menu tends to be moderate in size at Greenhouse Effect. They are also big on edibles, and we've recognized this shop for it. If you are in search of something a bit more elegant than the traditional bland "space cake", come here.
The shop itself is small, but undoubtedly luxurious. Seating is provided in the form of plush leather and suede covered couches. The cannabis menu is connoisseur grade at this coffeeshop, as all Green House Amsterdam locations.
This shop gets its name from Bagheera, the black Indian leopard from famous children’s novel The Jungle Book. In contrast to the aggressive logo of Bagheera Coffeeshop, the actual vibe of this place is relaxed and welcoming.
New Times would be best described as a modern coffeeshop. The interior is highly polished. Clean hardwood floors frame the room, and the shop is accented with purple lighting and trim. They have recessed lighting, and other contemporary fixtures.
