The name La Tertulia translates from Spanish as "The Salon". This appears consistent with this vibe they are trying to cultivate in this place. When you walk in, you will find a bright and open split-level coffeeshop.
Katsu is that this is an extremely artsy place, with an eclectic welcoming vibe. It is also regarded as a connoisseur shop, and generally boasts an excellent and diverse weed and hash menu. This is a standout shop in De Pijp section of Amsterdam.
Eerste v/d Helststraat 70
The shop itself is small, but undoubtedly luxurious. Seating is provided in the form of plush leather and suede covered couches. The cannabis menu is connoisseur grade at this coffeeshop, as all Green House Amsterdam locations.
The trim throughout Green Place is a bit Arabian, with a touch of modern. What this shop lacks in size it seems to make up for in "cool vibe". With regard to their cannabis, Green Place is presently considered a connoisseur establishment.
Barney's Lounge is a modern establishment; the decor a bit of a mix between nightclub and a posh coffee lounge. One of several Barney's establishments, which are are known for their award winning strains and focus on connoisseur customers.
The same group that owns Siberië Coffeeshop also owns the Loft. The management is quite serious about their cannabis menu. On the weed side, expect a mix of high quality strains, including some contemporary items. The hash side is also formidable.
Jan van Galenstraat 285
This shop might just be “the” place for the visiting celebrity stoner. The atmosphere is upscale. The menu is excellent, and boasts many internationally famous strains. Perhaps most importantly though, it is far enough from the center to be quiet.
DNA Coffeeshop is quite modern in appearance. It’s look is very reminiscent of an American dispensary. The inside is clean, ornate, and clinical. This shop has a connoisseur cannabis menu, featuring items from the breeder Amsterdam Genetics.
An interesting coffeeshop; its windows and architecture are open and modern, and the shop quite inviting. There is cool artwork on the walls, ample seating, even a comfortable couch. We’d best describe Bluebird Coffeshop as a “chill” location.
Sint Antoniesbreestraat 71
This coffeeshop is a true "chill out" place. The furniture (especially the couches) are comfortable, the music is hip (we think so anyway), and the management keeps the guests happy. They have everything from milkshakes to chocolate chip cookies too!
