The Stud Coffeeshop sits near the eastern edge of Amsterdam-Oost (Amsterdam East) in the Indische Buurt neighborhood. The cannabis menu itself is large, with more than a dozen weed options. These include many local favorites, and contemporary strains
Rusland has the distinction of being the first legally-established coffeeshop in the city. It holds coffeeshop license number 001, and opened its doors on April 30, 1975. As such, this is recognized as a historic shop and one of Amsterdam's pioneers.
The decor inside Family First Coffeeshop is quite interesting and artsy. The tables are painted with colorful abstract images, which are infused with the occasional marijuana leaf. The walls are not bare, but full murals floor to ceiling.
Club Media coffeeshop is located in Oude Pijp (the Old Pipe) neighborhood. It is right adjacent to the Abert Cuypmarkt, a busy outdoor market which attracts a lot of locals and tourists alike.

Being in Thorbecke Square, Bushdoctor Coffeeshop has access to a great deal of outdoor seating space. On sunny days, they take full advantage of it. They'll place roughly a dozen small tables outside, and enough seating for several times that number.
This shop is really a take-and-go. The management has a sister bar/cafe/restaurant across the street called Kashmir Lounge, which is large, luxurious, and stunningly beautiful. If you stop here for weed, we recommend crossing the street to smoke it.
Jan Pieter Heijestraat 85-87
Mr. K Coffeeshop is found in the popular Jordaan district. They seem focused on cannabis quality here, and feature name-brand genetics on their menu. The pricing tends to be reasonable as well, as this isn't a shop that is inundated by tourists.
Tweede Laurierdwarsstraat 44C
Sensemillia Osdorp is found on the upstairs of a modern standalone building right on the lakefront. The shop is fairly standard for a dutch coffeeshop, minus one very unique feature. They have an outdoor terrace with a stunning view of the lake.

The best way to describe Funky Munkey would be to say it is a cross between a city coffee house and "man cave". There is a pool table in the center of the room. A chess table rests in here as well. A giant dartboard is also hung on one wall.
This establishment in the picturesque Jordaan neighborhood is a bit more traditional than many of the shops on the city center. At the same time it has a decidedly upscale feel to it. The cannabis menu is also large, with a good mix of hash and weed.
