With a slogan such as “Creators of Champions”, the GreenHouse Amsterdam brand clearly understands that without top quality cannabis, even terrific ambiance wouldn’t give them worldwide awareness and reputation. Those are earned, which this shop has.
The Bulldog Palace is a must-see coffeeshop when in Amsterdam. It was built inside Amsterdam's former police station number 14, in the old jail downstairs. Here visitors will find an amazing museum, with many artifacts from the prohibition era.
This coffeeshop is owned by the proprietors of Siberië, The Loft, and De Supermarkt. The management has been quite serious about weed, often focusing on the more contemporary high-potency strains. All four are regarded as connoisseur coffeeshops.
Tweede Nassaustraat 1B
For a long time this establishment was known as Utopia, but changed hands in early 2018 to become The Plug. Interestingly, the new owner also runs The Plug cannabis club in Barcelona, which is quite well known for its connoisseur products.

Smoke Palace is large, and the decor beautiful. Custom tile and wood work are featured on the walls and counter throughout much of the shop. Add mirrors and track lighting, and you have a place that looks more a nightclub than a coffeeshop.
Linnaeusstraat 83 HS
On nice days the management will usually open up one of the wide front windows. Sit next to it. You'll be indoors, but immersed in the beautiful outside air and sunshine. This feature probably places Solo on the "coolest coffeeshop seating" list.
Korte Koningsstraat 2
The Sprit is an establishment that would be best described as a cross between a traditional dutch coffeeshop, and a retro amusement center. It has a full wall of pinball machines... arcade games... There is no other place like it in Amsterdam!
New Times would be best described as a modern coffeeshop. The interior is highly polished. Clean hardwood floors frame the room, and the shop is accented with purple lighting and trim. They have recessed lighting, and other contemporary fixtures.
Prix d'Ami Coffeeshop is arguably more of a weed nightclub than a traditional Dutch cannabis bar. The largest coffeeshop in the city, this shop is spread over three floors, and six rooms. It is also packed with features and amenities.
The name La Tertulia translates from Spanish as "The Salon". This appears consistent with this vibe they are trying to cultivate in this place. When you walk in, you will find a bright and open split-level coffeeshop.
