The Bulldog Palace is a must-see coffeeshop when in Amsterdam. It was built inside Amsterdam's former police station number 14, in the old jail downstairs. Here visitors will find an amazing museum, with many artifacts from the prohibition era.
Grey Area is short on amenities. Don't expect a TV, hot food, or much by way of snacks or coffee. Grey Area is about one thing: cannabis. This establishment has established itself as one of the most recognized connoisseur shops in Amsterdam.

Founded in 1975, The Bulldog claims the distinction of being the first coffeeshop in the city. At one time Bulldog 90 was an illegal establishment, selling cannabis in violation of Dutch law. There is much tribute to this history throughout the shop.
